Cazenove Capital has appointed a new portfolio manager to its Jersey office.
Paul Battams joins from Lloyds TSB Private Banking where he was most recently an equity analyst in the company’s Geneva office. He previously worked in Jersey as an investment manager for Lloyds and is a member of the Securities & Investment Institute.
Report to Euan Dangerfield, head of Cazenove Capital’s Private Wealth Management team in Jersey, Battams is due to join in July.
“Over the last year, assets under management in Jersey have grown by more than 10% to £1.3bn,” said Dangerfield.
“Paul’s appointment demonstrates Cazenove Capital’s commitment to developing a strong presence here in Jersey and delivering the best possible levels of investment advice and client service. His experience of investment management in Jersey and Geneva will be extremely valuable as we seek to grow the business further.”
