Butterfield Private Bank has confirmed its head of private banking Danny Dixon and CIO David Stewart have both left the firm.
Dixon had worked at Butterfield for just over a year and had responsibility for building the firm’s wealth management offering.
Stewart departs after two and a half years at the firm heading up strategy and research, and looking after the private client and asset management division.
The reasons behind their leaving are not yet known, but some reports have speculated about the future of the London office and whether a restructuring is on the cards.
A spokesperson at Butterfield confirmed Dixon and Stewart had left, but said: "As a matter of policy, Butterfield will not comment on speculation about possible future events or corporate activities unless there is a regulatory reason to do so."
