Former Aberdeen man joins Fidelity to boost real estate team

Ewan Montgomery joins from Cording Real Estate Group, where he was director of investment for UK commercial property and has a CV that also boasts CBRE and Aberdeen Asset Management as former employers.

Reporting to Neil Cable, head of real estate, he will be based out of London and brings more than 20 years’ real estate investment experience.

In addition, Fidelity is also hiring across its UK, German and French teams, recruiting across its investment and asset management teams.

Cable said: “Fidelity has enjoyed a strong start to this year with our first round of capital raising for our Eurozone Fund hitting €111m (£96m) as well as a steady stream of inflows from institutional clients looking for income.

“With such strong client demand and steadily growing portfolios, we are looking to grow our team of experienced real estate professionals across Europe.”
