Hawksbee was formerly head of sales at Quilter Cheviot, and worked there for 17 years in total.

He will be tasked with helping the firm match its offering with the changing needs of financial advisers.

“During my career I have been fortunate to work with teams who have been able to grow assets under management sharply. I see similar growth prospects here, which makes this a really exciting opportunity,” said Hawksbee.

Partner at James Hambro & Partners James Horniman said: “We are seeing a lot of interest from advisers at the moment and Glenn’s experience will be incredibly valuable in helping ensure we tailor our proposition most effectively to meet the adviser needs. We’ve invested heavily in developing our adviser proposition in recent months and being able to attract the likes of Glenn is very encouraging.”
