Brown Shipley has announced that Guy Healey is its new head of private banking.

Based in the London office Healey will lead and be responsible for expanding the business and client base throughout the United Kingdom. 

Healey has nearly 30 years of experience in banking and wealth management. He was most recently managing director of Lloyds Bank's international private banking division based in Switzerland between 2012 and 2014, leading a team with £10bn under management. Before that was director of Lloyds Bank's UK high net worth business between 2009 and 2011.

“Guy has extensive knowledge of private banking and significant senior leadership experience,” said Brown Shipley CEO Ian Sackfield. “He has a proven track record of business development which, combined with his background in M&A, will be key to helping us continue our growth and acquisition focus.”

Healey said: “Brown Shipley shows tremendous commitment to its private banking clients, consistently providing an excellent service.  I’m looking forward to developing and expanding its private banking offering, as well as aiding the growth plans of the business as a whole.”

Brown Shipley is part of European banking network KBL European Private Bankers, which operates in 50 locations across nine European markets.
