The board of Dynamic Assets Managed Fund plc have selected Armstrong Investment Managers (AIM) to manage their £184m Dynamic Asset Funds.

The fund range includes the Balanced Income & Growth Fund, Conservative Growth Fund, Euro Conservative Growth Fund, Growth Fund and a US Dollar Growth Fund that are all focused on delivering absolute returns.

The move is still subject to final approval by the Irish regulator, IFSRA.

Stephen Tucker, managing director at The Fry Group, says: “In the current climate, clients are being forced to take investment risk when they do not want it. By working with AIM, we can provide investment products that focus on their needs - a positive return after tax, inflation and management fees and preserving capital through all market conditions."

AIM’s founding partners, Dr Ana Armstrong and Patrick Armstrong, worked with The Fry Group in their previous roles as co-heads of Insight Investment’s Multi-Asset Group. Their investment strategy is to run funds by allocating across a range of asset classes in multi-asset portfolios.

Dr Ana Armstrong, joint managing partner of AIM, says: “We established our business to focus on global macro multi-asset investment solutions and our priority is to deliver market-leading, risk-adjusted, inflation beating returns for our clients."
